Since 2014, Jacob Hilmer Architecture has designed and detailed a number of bespoke tensile coverings, in close collaboration with Studsgaard sailmaker and tensile structure manufacturer.
JHA is deeply inspired by the masters of light weight structures, such as Frei Otto, Félix Candela, Ove Arup, Buro Happold, Pier Luigi Nervi, Buckminster Fuller, Eero Saarinen, Jørn Utzon, Richard Rogers, Shigeru Ban etc. and is through our practice striving to promote the potential of tensile architecture.
